Sarcasm Lost
It's a bummer when sarcasm is lost in a generational gap. Yesterday I asked Faith to bring me the dishes from the living room, she said there weren't any and just kept doing what she was doing. So I come out to the living room knowing full well there has to be a sippy cup or something. And of course there are dishes everywhere, cups, plates, the popcorn bowl, etc... I asked Faith, "Did you look with your eyes open, or were you using the force?" She looks at me with those honest blue eyes and says "What's the force?" I found out sarcasm isn't so great when the recipient doesn't get it....

Just wait...they get the sarcasm thing very quickly and then that's ALL you get when you ask them to do something! Very fun indeed!
Good times, Christine
